Pregnant Jessica Alba unites with Jessica Biel for cancer run

Hollywood Actress Jessica Alba and Jessica Biel joined thousands of charity runners in Times Square today to show their support for the Revlon’s annual women's cancer fund raiser.

The Hollywood actresses delighted fans when they arrived at the Revlon charity run in New York to participate in the beauty brand's 14th Annual Entertainment Industry Foundation (EIF) Revlon Run/Walk.

Both Jessicas are Global Brand Ambassadors for Revlon and have fronted numerous advertising campaigns for the beauty brand through the years.

Pregnant Alba, 30, stepped up on to the event stage to speak out about the dangers of women’s cancer.

Dressed in cute black workout leggings, trainers and an oversized Revlon EIF event T-shirt, she cheerfully trotted across the stage talking openly about the importance of the Revlon event’s 14th year.

Alba had just celebrated her 30th birthday two days earlier and looked to be in exceptionally high spirits as she skipped across the Revlon stage, exposing her growing baby bump through her T-shirt.

The Fantastic Four star expressed her delight at being apart of the event today when she tweeted: ‘The energy here @revlon run/walk is amazing 20,000 people are here to participate. This is 14th year & we've raised over $60million for women’s cancer!’

Sadly, the newly single Jessica Biel, 29, was a little under par after falling ill a few days earlier.

The stunning A-Team actress did all she could to get well in time for the charity event having been feeling a little under the weather recently.

Earlier this morning, she called on her fans to help her get better by tweeting: ‘Still trying to recover from my sickness. Going to the doctors today! Pray for me! Positive attitude - I'm sure I will be fine!!’

Although Biel didn’t say exactly what was wrong with her, she did manage to make it to the charity event and smiled happily for the camera with her pregnant co-Ambassador, Alba.

Perhaps a dose of charitable work was just Biel needed as she later replied to a get well tweet with: ‘Thanks. Feeling like my old self, still some minor issues!’

Bruce Willis & Demi Moore’s Daughter Tallulah Caught With Alcohol

The 17-year-old daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, Tallulah Belle Willis, was caught by the LAPD on Friday night in possession of alcohol. It all happened on when police officers spotted three teenage females getting out of a a vehicle at about 11PM with two bottles of alcohol on the Hollywood beat. The police quickly realized that they were well under the age of 21 and were cited for underage drinking. The teenagers were given tickets.

At that point, the LAPD called the parents of the teenagers to come pick them up. In particular, Tallulah decided to call her father Bruce to pick her up from the police station, but it was her mother Demi who decided to pick her daughter up instead. Photographers were of course present, capturing shots of Tallulah wearing very short shorts and a strapless bikini top. During some of the snapshots, she was shown smoking a cigarette and exposing her tattoo just under her belly.

Nicole Richie Shows Off Her Toned Bikini Body in Miami

Nicole Richie is looking hot down in Florida and we don't mean temperature wise.
The starlet lounged around a Miami hotel in a tiny two piece, flaunting her toned stomach.

It was only a few weeks ago when Richie struck back at reports that claimed she was pregnant.

"Contrary to recent speculation, I am not pregnant. This irresponsible reporting continues to feed an atmosphere of self-doubt and insecurity," she said in a statement to Usmagazine.com.

"To publicly point out a change in anyone's body is mean spirited and cruel. People's bodies change and change again. This is not newsworthy and is a waste of valuable media space that should be used for more important issues."

Pippa Middleton's Evening Dress for Royal Wedding Reception (Photo)

After garnering praise for her fabulous white dress at the Royal Wedding on Friday, Kate Middleton's little sister, Pippa Middleton, wowed again in an emerald evening dress at the
reception, UsMagazine.com reports.

For the reception Friday evening at Buckingham Palace, Pippa donned a floor-length green dress with a plunging neckline by London designer Alice Temperley.

"It was a wonderful opportunity and an honor to work with Ms. Pippa Middleton," Temperley told UsMagazine. "She is a beautiful young woman, with such elegance and looked stunning at the reception."

Mike Tyson's Tattoo Artist Sues to Stop Release of 'Hangover 2'

S. Victor Whitmill, the award-winning tattoo artist who gave Mike Tyson his well-known facial ink, filed a lawsuit in federal court in Missouri on Thursday seeking an injunction against Warner Bros.
that would stop the studio from releasing 'The Hangover Part 2.'

"When Mr. Whitmill created the Original Tattoo, Mr. Tyson agreed that Mr. Whitmill would own the artwork and thus, the copyright in the Original Tattoo," the court papers read (via The Hollywood Reporter). "Warner Bros. Entertainment, Inc. – without attempting to contact Mr. Whitmill, obtain his permission, or credit his creation – has copied Mr. Whitmill's Original Tattoo and placed it on the face of another actor ... This unauthorized exploitation of the Original Tattoo constitutes copyright infringement."

In 'The Hangover Part 2,' the character played by Ed Helms wakes up after a long night of partying with a facial tattoo similar to Tyson's. THR notes that it will be difficult for Warner Bros. to argue that the tats are "coincidentally similar" because Tyson was featured in the first 'Hangover' film and the ink sported by Helms in the second movie seems to be a "direct comedic reference to Tyson."

Warners, which was forced to make a large payout to the author of the source material for its 'Dukes of Hazzard' film when he filed an injunction to stop its release, will have to prove that the copyright isn't valid (or settle with Whitmill, who calls the ink "one of the most distinctive tattoos in the nation"). In order to do so, the studio can argue that they changed the design enough that it doesn't constitute infringement or that it's a parody.

Guest Author Day with Berengaria Brown

Can you tell me a bit about your most recent release/upcoming release?

"Paige's Passion" blurb
Paige is sent on a business trip and invites her good friend Madeline to go with her. They’ve been lusting after each other for some time but Paige was worried that taking the step to a sexual relationship might destroy their friendship. At the end of the second night they are committed to an ongoing relationship together.
But when they get back to their ordinary lives Paige is consumed by her job. Paige desperately wants the relationship to work, but her career is very important to her and Maddie is so easy-going. Can they ever be happy together?

STORY Excerpt WARNING Lesbian Romance
"Shit, Paige, this's a really nice suite. Are you sure it's okay for me to be here with you?" asked Madeline, looking around at the solid wooden doors hiding the huge flat-screen TV and mini-bar, and at the ultra king-size bed.
Paige opened the drapes wide, exposing a fantastic view across to the river, which was dotted with yachts and other sailing boats. "Of course it's okay. Wait 'til you see the bathroom, Maddy. It's something special. Go, look at it."
"Oh, wow, this is great. Two would definitely fit in this Jacuzzi and in the shower. And there's a separate room for the toilet. That's really classy." Madeline's voice echoed back to Paige.
At forty, Madeline's hair was still a shiny chestnut with no signs of gray, her hazel eyes were always alive with fun, and she flitted from job to job as the mood took her. Paige, ten years younger, considered her short, dark brown hair and brown eyes positively dull beside the vivacious Maddy.
Paige grunted some affirmative noises, but her eyes and her mind were on that huge bed. She sat on the side of it and sank deeply into a cushy mattress and puffy quilt.
I'll finally be sharing a bed with Maddy. It's what I've wanted to do for so long. She turns me on so much more than any man ever has. And I know she's bisexual, she makes no secret of that. But does she desire me in that way? And if we fuck, will that ruin our friendship? We get on so well together. Will taking our relationship to a sexual level destroy our ability to have fun together? Gods, I wish I knew what to do here!
"Hey, wake up! Let's go try out the pool and hot tub on the roof," suggested Maddy, bouncing back into the room.
"Good plan. You change in the bathroom and I'll change here. But you have to put your clothes and shoes back on; they don't let you in the hallways just in swimwear."
"Not a problem," responded Maddy, grabbing her tote bag and heading back into the bathroom.
Paige changed into her plain navy one-piece and hastily dropped an equally plain navy A-line skirt over it. She was buttoning up a pale blue shirt when Maddy called out, "Okay to enter?"
"Yeah, sure," Paige replied, moving over to her luggage to grab her flip-flops.
Paige's heart began to beat so hard it almost drummed its way out of her chest as she looked at Maddy. Her friend was wearing a bright candy pink and orange tankini that should have clashed horribly with her hair, yet somehow looked stunning. Maddy's lush breasts stretched the top enticingly, her hips rounded out the bottom, and her belly protruded just the slightest bit, making a smooth-flowing curve across the garment that was very enjoyable to look at. Her legs were long and straight and slightly muscled, yet very feminine.
Maddy dropped a pink sundress over her head, slid her feet into matching pink sandals, and asked, "Are there pool towels, or do we need to take towels with us?"
"When I went up to look at it before you arrived, there was a stack of pool towels on a table by the door."
"Excellent. Let's go."
Paige grabbed her keycard and followed Maddy to the door, trying not to drool at her friend's yummy ass swaying beneath the sundress. It was even worse as they got off the elevator and walked up the few steps to the pool entry. Maddy's calf muscles flexed and stretched. Her ass swung slightly and Paige's cunt clenched with desire. She's my friend. Just a friend. Someone to hang out with and talk to. Not a lover, she told herself sternly.

For any readers who may not have read any of your books, can you just give us a little sneak peek into world?

Berengaria Brown is a multi-published author of erotic romance: contemporary, paranormal (ghosts, vampires and werewolves) and Regency-set historical. She loves to read all different kinds of romance so that is what she writes: one man/one woman; two women; two men; two men/one woman; three men…. Whatever the characters need for their very hot happily-ever-after, Berengaria makes sure they get it.

How much of yourself, if any, do you put into your characters?
I seem to turn up in a minor character from time to time. I’m not sure why. It just happens.

How do you keep sex scenes fresh and exciting so they don't become stale or repetitive?

The characters very much decide what they want. Some days I just seem to take dictation! But also, since I write menage, MM and FF there’s lots of differences and variety there.

If you could throw a party with any five people (living or dead) who would you pick and why?

I’m a huge James Bond fan so Sean Connery, George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan, and Daniel Craig. Yeah, I know, that’s six, but hey, I gotta have the whole set! Why? Hell, who could resist so much yumminess, and the potential thrill of a car chase or two, an explosion, and some bad guys breaking up the party so I could be rescued. Awesome!

What are at least five things you have on your bucket list and have you done any of them?

I’ve always loved traveling and my day job includes a lot of travel, so I’m fortunate in that I’ve been just about everywhere. It’s pretty awesome being paid to do what you enjoy.

Is there one series/author you feel is a must read for readers to explore (can be e book authors or print NY house authors)?

Georgette Heyer is likely my all-time favorite author. She introduced me to historicals and to romance as a genre.

Do you listen to music when writing? Do you feel like some stories write themselves a soundtrack with specific music? If so, what book and what kind of music influenced it?

Rainforest noises, birdsong, waterfalls, that type of music helps me concentrate.

Do you feel your writing is character driven or plot driven? How do you balance these two elements?

The characters just appear in my head and take over. They yell, and scream, and stomp their feet until I write their stories. The plots just seem to happen as we travel along, although the plot gives me the most trouble as I have to ensure it’s logical and consistent.

Is there a genre you haven’t done that you would like to explore in the future?

I write pretty much all over the genres: menage, MM, FF. I even have a straight MF story, and a sweet romance! I write paranormals (ghosts, vampires, werewolves), and Regency-set historicals as well as contemporary. The series I’m currently writing is vaguely futuristic. So I think I basically have it all covered. Something for every taste!

What is your favorite movie of all time? The one where you can watch
it and still get affected at the same spots each and every time?

Any James Bond movie, but especially the Roger Moore ones.

If you were stranded on a deserted island, what 5 things would you
have with you?

A hunky man, a solar-powered laptop, a fishing line, sunscreen, chocolate.

What is the one era you would love to go visit and why?

Regency England. Georgette Heyer: need I say more?

Out of all your books, do you have a favorite one? If not, then which one is closest to your heart?

A good Momma doesn’t have favorites, but I’m always closest to the book I’m currently writing, as those characters are living in my head 24/7.

What character out of all your books is the closest to your personality?

None of my heroines is me. (None of my heroes is either!)

What do you feel is the most important aspect a new author should remember when writing/creating their own stories? Any advice for aspiring authors?

Write what you care about, what interests you. And polish before submitting to a house that publishes books similar to yours.

What can we expect to come in the future from you? Want to give us a tease of your upcoming projects?

The first book in what I hope will become a new series is coming from Siren BookStrand in July. It’s called “Shared Possession, the series will be “Possessive Passion” and they are set in a world where brothers chose a bride and abduct her to be their shared wife.

The Week in Spandex - The Avengers assemble as Pixar say no to Marvel

Our weekly round-up of all the talking points from the world of movie superheroes including The Avengers, Thor, Captain America: The First Avenger, X-Men: First Class, Green Lantern, The Dark Knight Rises, Man of Steel and The Amazing Spider-Man…

Warner Bros. may have grabbed most of the attention these past few weeks with casting announcements on The Dark Knight Rises and Man of Steel but this week’s column is all about Marvel (well, pretty much all, anyway), with Monday gone marking the official beginning of principal photography on their epic superhero ensemble, The Avengers. Director Joss Whedon revealed the news himself via a statement on Whedonesque, with the principal cast members – the likes of Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Chris Evans (Captain America), Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye), Mark Ruffalo (The Incredible Hulk), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), Clark Gregg (Agent Coulson), Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury), Cobie Smulders (Maria Hill), Tom Hiddleston (Loki) and Stellan SkarsgÃ¥rd (Professor Erik Selvig) – expected to commence filming this coming week.

To mark the occasional the studio quickly released the first official set photo along with a press release that seemed to indicate a slight name change to Marvel’s The Avengers (is that really necessary?). We also managed to get a few scraps of info about the upcoming film throughout the week, with Mark Ruffalo stating that he has “a couple of lines as the Hulk” and describing his character as “the teammate none of them are sure they want on their team”. Chris Evans also revealed that Captain America will find himself in new threads, while Paul Bettany confirmed that he is set to reprise his role as the voice of Jarvis from Iron Man. Meanwhile a guy going by the name of XXXBobSmith claimed to have a copy of the screenplay for The Avengers and released a couple of pages in an effort to sell the script on to interested sites. Judging by the images the script certainly looks as if it could be legit (see for yourself here) and if so, then I hope Mr. Smith gets enough to pay for a decent lawyer.

Of course before we get to The Avengers we have two lead-in movies from Marvel Studios this year in Thor and Captain America: The First Avenger. Kenneth’s Branagh’s Thor opened officially in UK cinemas yesterday (read my review here and another from Liam Trim here) and with three days of preview screenings you’d have to expect the God of Thunder to topple Justin Lin’s Fast & Furious 5: Rio Heist when the weekend box office figures are in. If you aren’t quite fully Thor-ed out yet, be sure to check out MTV's interview with Kenneth Branagh and a ‘Making of Thor’ feature that Total Film posted earlier in the week. Finally, on the Captain America front, Chris Evans and Samuel L. Jackson embarked on some last-minute filming in Times Square, which you’d imagine to be for the customary post-credits scene. You can check out some footage and images at Collider.

Moving on to the X-Men franchise and Fox have released another two trailers for Matthew Vaughn’s upcoming prequel X-Men: First Class, which hits cinemas in less than five weeks time. X-Men: First Class was the clear winner in our poll to find your most anticipated superhero film of 2011 [see the full results at the bottom of this article] and while the film’s poster campaign has been less than stellar the trailers really do look promising. In other First Class news, Hero Complex posted a preview of the film that includes comments from both Michael Fassbender and James McAvoy, while the official X-Men Facebook site continued to update their ‘X-Perts’ Q&A series with Jason Flemyng (Azazel) the latest to take on fans’ questions. There’s also an interesting article over at Heat Vision about the dispute that’s taken place over the writing credits on First Class, which seems to have been resolved after the WGA stepped in to try and clear things up.

Another film arriving later this summer is Martin Campbell’s Green Lantern, starring Ryan Reynolds as the first human Lantern, Hal Jordan. Yahoo debuted a couple of new character posters featuring Sinestro (Mark Strong) and Kilowog (Michael Clarke Duncan) along with the final one-sheet, with MTV releasing a promotional banner that gives us a good look at the Green Lantern Corps. Elsewhere Martin Campbell and screenwriter Greg Berlanti took part in an interview with Hero Complex in which they talked about how the upcoming film differs from other superhero efforts, while Variety announced that Warner Bros. are pumping an extra $9m into the VFX budget but remain confident that the film will be ready for its planned release date of June 17th.

Wrapping up the best of the rest…

… Pittsburgh may be doubling for Gotham City in Christopher Nolan’s final Batman movie The Dark Knight Rises but it seems that the production is also set to take in the Indian city of Jodhpur for two days of filming at Mehrangarh Fort in early May. Christian Bale is the only actor mentioned in the article but my guess would be that the location is either filling in for Peña Dura or somehow linked to the League of Shadows…

…Michael Shannon’s General Zod has found his “right-hand bitch” for Zack Snyder’s Superman reboot Man of Steel and thankfully it’s not Lindsay Lohan. Variety broke the news that German actress Antje Traue (Pandorum) has been cast as Faora and joins a cast that so far includes Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Diane Lane and Kevin Costner…

...The Amazing Spider-Man is also set to swing into cinemas in 2012 and actress Emma Stone (Gwen Stacy) has revealed that the six-month shoot on the Andrew Garfield-headlined reboot will draw to a close in mid-May...

...Disney COO and Pixar legend John Lasseter has moved to put an end to fan speculation surrounding a possible Pixar - Marvel team-up, telling IGN that "we've done superheroes here ourselves and so we have that kind of history with Brad Bird doing The Incredibles"...

...And finally, we've been running a poll over the past couple of weeks to find your most anticipated superhero film of 2011 and the results are now in. Take a look...

X-Men: First Class - 31% (165 votes)
Captain America: The First Avenger - 24% (130 votes)
Green Lantern - 22% (121 votes)
Thor - 21% (116 votes)

I Am Not Comfortable Going N*de: Priyanka Chopra

Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra, who donned a bikini in Dostana, says she is not comfortable going nude.

"When it comes to drawing a line at my individuality, nudity is something I am not comfortable with," Priyanka told reporters after launching the book Age of Sinnocence at MTV's Youth Marketing Forum here.

However, the actress said she was open to kiss her female co-stars on screen.

"I would love to kiss an actress on screen...but she should be hot," she quipped.

To a query on model Poonam Pandey, who had expressed her willingness to go nude for the Indian World Cup winning cricketers, Priyanka said, "The main thing is she did not go nude. She did not do what she had said."

"It is her life she can do whatever she wants to," she added.

'The Hangover 2' Release Threatened Over Tattoo Accusation

"The Hangover Part II" faces a problem less than a month before it hits theaters. S. Victor Whitmill, a tattoo artist who gave Mike Tyson his distinctive facial art, is suing Warner Bros. Pictures over the similar-looking facial ink on Ed Helms' face, and asking for an injunction to stop the movie's release.

A complaint has been filed on Thursday, April 28 in federal court in St. Louis. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the statement read, "When Mr. Whitmill created the Original Tattoo, Mr Tyson agreed that Mr. Whitmill would own the artwork and thus, the copyright in the Original Tattoo."

"Warner Bros. Entertainment, Inc. - without attempting to contact Mr. Whitmill, obtain his permission, or credit his creation - has copied Mr. Whitmill's Original Tattoo and placed it on the face of another actor...," the statement continued. "This unauthorized exploitation of the Original Tattoo constitutes copyright infringement."

Also being attached to the lawsuit was Whitmill's copyright registration for the "Original Tattoo", and Tyson's signature as a proof that the ex-champ granted rights in the work. In addition the document, some pictures of Whitmill applying the design on Tyson's face were included.

In trailers and posters for the second installment of the comedy, Helms sports a body art while enduring the hilarious situation in Bangkok. Helm's tattoo looks like Tyson's, and was also chiseled on the same spot as Tyson's. Tyson himself made an appearance in "The Hangover" as himself, chasing the main characters after they stole his tiger.

On another "The Hangover 2" news, Ken Jeong has recently posted on his Twitter page a new poster for the movie. The actor wrote, "Latest poster for The Hangover Part II...." , before attaching the new picture.

"The Hangover 2" is scheduled for May 26 release across the nation during Memorial Day weekend. The gang from the first film are in Bangkok to celebrate Stu's wedding when they discover themselves in another state of black-out.

Also reprising their roles as Helms' buddies are Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis, and Justin Bartha. Jamie Chung, Nick Cassavetes and Juliette Lewis are among actors supporting the movie. Todd Phillips returns to serve behind the lens.

Film Review: `Thor`, Hollywood extravaganza at its shiniest best

It will go down in history as the most elaborately planned movie franchisee, spanning years and different movies (including sequels) and multiple characters with individual films. And despite knowing that such an extravaganza can be possible only from the marriage of one between Marvel and Hollywood, you continue to marvel at it. The latest marvelous addition to this collection is "Thor".

Thor (Chris Hemsworth), the son of Odin (Anthony Hopkins) a god, grows up to be a warrior too arrogant of his strength to maintain a fragile peace in the kingdom. Seeing his arrogance Odin takes his power and casts him to earth so he can learn to be humble.

Devoid of his power and unable to even move his weapon, a hammer forged from a dying star, he, with the help of a kind scientist Jane (Natalie Portman) learns the value of life and a humility and in the end is ready to sacrifice himself to save his friends.

"Thor" was a dangerous gamble for Marvel. He is not one of the popular characters among the avengers. To dedicate and entire movie, some would have said, was foolhardy. But the film "Thor" amply illustrates that if the will is right, creativity can indeed be brought to be a good slave.

"Thor" is Hollywood extravaganza at its best. It is expected of a film of this magnitude to have good effects. However, the film understands that the effects have to serve the story and not mask a nonexistent one. To bring out human elements in a story about gods, takes skill.

Also the costumes, set design and magical elements are put up in such a way as to make the clan of gods look like and advanced alien race rather than a magical race of gods. That gives the story a science fiction angle, like the other films in the Avengers` series, "Iron Man" and "Hulk", and the upcoming "Captain America", instead of a mythical, magical dimension that would not have fit in with the others.

Chris Hemsworth has gained more than few pounds for his role as Thor. From his impish arrogance of "Star Trek" to the magnificent arrogance of a god, he has come a long way both as an actor and as a star.

The film would delight fans of Avengers and Marvel comics with its hidden references. So we see the agent Coulson from SHIELD we first encountered in "Iron Man"; Samuel L. Jackson makes a unaccredited appearance after the end credits; and there`s reference to Tony Stark, Jeremy Rainer in a small cameo is set up to be "Hawk Eye" in the "Avengers" and Loki is set up to the arch-enemy for the "Avengers".

The Marvel master, Stan Lee too makes an appearance in a funny cameo. Fans should sit through the last credits, for a minute extra that has become an USP of this series.

"Thor" makes a good metaphor against vanity. One should not be too proud to be strong and that wisdom is worth aspiring for. Hope Marvel would have the wisdom to continue with good cinema in the next "Captain America" and "Avengers" offerings.

My Personal Review for Seven Days by Andrew Grey

I don't know about you but when I picked up my first Andrew Grey book, The Best Revenge, I didn't know I would find an author I just had to read over the next few years. Each time I grabbed the newest book from this author, I always thought, "He can't get any better than the last book" and I was always proven wrong. Andrew Grey is a talented writer, one I know will always deliver a story that will leave me crying, laughing and smiling-sometimes all at once too.

Seven Days is this author's brand new release and one that completely hooked me from the beginning. I can't imagine the emotions an author experiences when he writes a pivotal scene(s) yet when a reader like myself is bawling their eyes out because of something he/she has written, well all I can say is "Pass the tissues".

Mr. Grey delivers a strong, emotional story about one man's journey through loss and despair to finding that slim sliver of hope shining through when life closes one door and then proceeds to open a new one for you to walk through. Evan Donaldson is that man and this is the journey he goes on in Seven Days. I can't begin to put my thoughts into words as they tumble like a sparkling brook over rocks. The reader feels every emotion Evan has and experiences and finds that silver lining under all those gray clouds.

Evan is a character I fell in love with the moment he stepped off the first page-dirty, scared, resigned to life on the streets at a tender age. The moment Father Valentin steps into the picture, you get a sense of how one door closes for Evan and another beckons-if he is willing to trust one man who doesn't want to hurt him. First love, changing lives, friendships and more are experienced by the reader as Evan travels through the years in Seven Days. Mr. Grey has a knack for creating the right amount of mystery, tension and romance in his stories that will completely captivate the reader.

Seven Days is more than a story of two people falling in love, its about faith, trust and the sense that life may give you a few twists but in the end, you find that what you are searching for is worth it in the end. Kudos to Mr. Grey for creating this heartfelt, emotional story and I look forward to seeing what else this author may have in store for his beloved readers.

My rating: 5 Stars

Justin Houston Heading To Kansas City

Former Georgia linebacker, Justin Houston, has been selected 70th overall, by the Kansas City Chiefs, in the third round of tonights NFL Draft.

Houston is thought to have been dropped from early round consideration due to a positive drug test at the NFL Combine, however there seems to be more concern about his overall work ethic than his character.

It is felt, by some, that Houston has a tendency towards taking plays off and not giving max effort on every down. In order to become better at the pro level he will have to show more consistency in his play and his approach to training.

He should be a good fit in Kansas City—where the defense is young and hungry—but he will need good coaching to reach his potential in good time.

Congrats to Justin Houston.

Justin Bieber, Mark Wahlberg Eying Basketball Movie

Marky Mark and Justin? On a basketball court?

According to reports at Deadline and The Hollywood Reporter, Paramount is in negotiations with Mark Walhberg and Justin Bieber for an untitled drama that will revolve around street basketball.

Both Wahlberg and Bieber are closet basketball players -- Wahlberg regularly has his friends over for full-court action and Bieber has some hoops chops.

Apparently Wahlberg saw Bieber play ball in February during a celebrity game held during NBA All-Star Game weekend in which Bieber showed off his court skills. Wahlberg -- who now juggles acting with producing -- subsequently pitched an idea to Paramount executives, who are talking it through in more detail with Bieber's camp, a source told THR.

The tone of the project is described as 'The Color of Money' meets 'The Karate Kid,' according to Deadline.

Paramount is more than happy to be in business with Bieber. His 'Justin Bieber: Never Say Never' concert film was made on a $13 million budget and grossed $97 million worldwide.

This will be the 17-year-old singing sensation's dramatic debut but have no doubts about this kid. We'll bet he'll do quite well as a big screen star. After all, Wahlberg started out as a rapper (remember Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch?), segued to Calvin Klein ads, and eventually caught the critics' eyes with his role in 'The Basketball Diaries' alongside Leonardo DiCaprio. Deja vu, anyone?

According to Wahlberg, neither he nor Bieber would sing or dance in the project. Darn. That would be a trip.

Sarah Ferguson Told to 'Disappear' on Royal Wedding Day

It's bad enough that Sarah Ferguson, The Duchess of York, did not receive an invite to the Royal wedding, but now to add insult to injury the Royal black sheep has been asked to keep a low profile on the very special day.

"The last thing the family wants is a picture of Sarah in a bikini on a beach popping up the day of the wedding or even worst mopping around by herself while everyone else is celebrating," a friend of Sarah's tells me. "They have basically told her to disappear and not be any distraction to the big day."

Sarah, whose most recent scandal involved being caught trying to sell media access to her ex-husband, Prince Andrew, has been busy working on a new show, 'Finding Sarah,' for Oprah's OWN channel. But despite her hard work, the Royals have made it clear they are in no mood to forgive.

The Duchess has not returned emails requesting comment. Has she gone underground already?

"Not inviting Sarah to the wedding is such a big mistake," the confidante tells me. "What's going to happen in a few years when her daughters get married? Are they going to try and ban their mother from attending their wedding because the Queen will be attending?"

Sarah is the first to admit she's made a big mistake and my insider observes that "if a wedding isn't a time for a family to set aside past problems and come together, then I don't know what is."

Paris Hilton, Boyfriend Attacker Jailed

James Rainford, the man who attacked Paris Hilton and her boyfriend Cy Waits on Wednesday, has been sent to jail.

TMZ is reporting that Rainford got sentenced to 227 days in prison after he pleaded 'no contest' to misdemeanor battery.

Rainford was already on probation and the judge threw the book at him for violating the terms of his probation. He was arrested last October after trespassing on the socialite's property and getting into an altercation with her security.

In addition to the jail sentence, Rainford was sentenced to three years informal probation and ordered to stay away from Waits once he's released.

Hilton and Waits were walking into a Superior Court building in Van Nuys when Rainford attempted to grab Waits in the back of the neck. He was immediately subdued by a bodyguard and handed over to police.

After his arrest, Rainford explained to police that he was in love with Hilton and had her father's permission to marry her.

Hilton and Waits were at the Van Nuys courthouse to testify in a case against Nathan Parada who broke into their home last year wielding a knife.

My Personal Review for Tyler's Cowboy by Amber Kell

I got to admit...I wasn't sure what to expect with Tyler's Cowboy by Amber Kell. It was the first book I read by this 'new to me' author and I was pleasantly surprised by it. It's a character driven story that had me glued to the pages from the beginning.

The cover is what got me right off the bat. I admit...I am a bit of a cover snob. If a sexy cover catches my eye, I will pick it to see what is all about and man, who doesn't like those hot, chiseled bodies on a cover????

If you never read an Amber Kell book, I suggest you start with Tyler's Cowboy. It introduces her new series, Cowboy Lovin' and though it's a short novella, it packs quite a punch straight out of the box.

I loved how the characters of Tyler and Cody got to know one another before jumping into bed together. It was a welcome change for me to read and with a few twist I didn't anticipate, Ms. Kell does a great job in keeping her readers mesmerized.

Tyler's Cowboy is a sweet, hot story of two people finding out they are perfect for one another. If you are looking for western story that delivers more for your money, then I highly recommend this newest introduction to author Amber Kell. I am eager to check out the rest of this prolific author's backlisted and upcoming titles.

10 Babe Ruth Facts Every Baseball Fan Should Know

Guest Article: Republished via courtesy of collegecrunch.net

On April 27, 1947, Babe Ruth, a few short months after being diagnosed with malignant throat cancer, stood before the New York faithful in the house that he built and received the highest honor a true Yankee can receive — the retirement of his number. At the time, he and former teammate Lou Gehrig were the only Yankees to hold that distinction. Babe Ruth Day was not just a Yankees celebration, however — it was a league-wide celebration to commemorate the most beloved athlete in American history. If you spoke to any young boy at the time, whether he was from the Bronx or Omaha, he would invariably name the Sultan of Swat has his hero and could recite dozens of Ruth facts on command. But as time has passed, memories have faded and new heroes have been made, and newer generations of baseball fans haven't seemed to maintain the same appreciation for the most dominant player in the game's 142-year history. The following facts are reminders of his proficiency as an all-around player and transcendence as a star. These are just a few of the indelible marks he left on America's pastime.
  1. Ruth was bestowed the nickname "Babe" once he joined the Orioles: Nineteen years old and fresh out of St. Mary's Industrial School for Boys, George Herman Ruth, Jr. signed with the then-minor league Baltimore Orioles, his hometown team, for $250 in 1914. In order for the contract to be valid, Jack Dunn, owner and manager of the team, became Ruth's legal guardian — 25 was the age of majority at the time. When Orioles players first encountered Ruth, they referred to him as "Jack's newest babe," which thereafter stuck as "Babe" publicly. Interestingly, as his career progressed, his teammates refused to call him by "Babe," instead calling him "Bam," "Jidge" and "The Big Fellow."
  2. Ruth could've been a Philadelphia Athletic: Before the Red Sox jumped at the opportunity to acquire Ruth for cash, Dunn dangled him in front of Connie Mack, then the Athletics manager and part owner, who elected not to send $10,000 in exchange for Ruth, Ernie Shore and Ben Egan. Although the Athletics were the defending World Series champs and were in the process of winning their second consecutive AL championship, the organization was undergoing financial problems, and the team was dispersed after the season, resulting in eight straight last-place finishes starting in 1915. New York Giants manager John McGraw was angered that he wasn't offered Ruth, and chose to never do business with the Orioles again. That decision eventually cost him Lefty Grove.
  3. As a starting pitcher for the Red Sox, Ruth led the league in ERA: Most people know that Ruth played for the Red Sox before joining the Yankees and he initially made an impact as a starting pitcher. But it's often forgotten that the he became among the best pitchers in baseball once he reached his peak, leading the league in ERA (1.75), shutouts (nine) and complete games (23) in 1916. From 1915 to 1917, he led all lefties in the majors in wins with 65. Because of his effectiveness on the mound, Red Sox manager Ed Barrow was reluctant to insert Ruth into the lineup, once saying "I'd be the laughingstock of baseball if I took the best lefthander in the league and put him in the outfield." He eventually reconsidered.
  4. Ruth helped lead the Red Sox to the 1918 World Series title: Ruth was the opening day starter yet ended the season leading the league in home runs (11) and slugging percentage (.555), and finishing second in on-base percentage (.411) and third in runs batted in (66). During the World Series against the Chicago Cubs, which was played in September because of the "Work or Fight" order of World War I, he pitched a shutout in Game 1 and won Game 4 while batting fourth — he's the only pitcher in World Series history to bat anywhere but ninth in the order. His hitting wasn't quite as effective, though, as he hit just .200 and only managed one extra-base hit, a triple.
  5. Ruth tossed 29 and 2/3 consecutive scoreless innings in the World Series, once a record: The streak started in Game 2 of the 1917 World Series after Ruth surrendered a first-inning solo homerun to Hi Myers of the Brooklyn Dodgers. He scattered just six hits in the next 13 innings en route to a 14-inning complete game victory. Sherry Smith was the losing pitcher, merely lasting 13 and 1/3 innings — both pitched two-game workloads by today's standards. The Sox won the Series in five games. Ruth's streak ended in the eighth inning of Game 4 of the 1918 World Series, when he gave up an RBI on a Charlie Hollocher groundout. The record stood for 43 years until Whitey Ford pitched 33 and 1/3 scoreless frames ending in the 1961 World Series.
  6. Ruth punched an ump and facilitated a perfect game — sort of: As with many other elite athletes through history, Ruth possessed an enormous ego and a temper to match. During a game he started versus the Senators in 1917, he allowed his temper to get the best of him, and ironically, it happened to be for the better. Incensed by the calls of umpire Brick Owens after walking the first batter he faced, Ruth was promptly ejected, causing him to strike Owens behind his left ear — he was later fined $100 for his actions. Policemen dragged Ruth off the field and Ernie Shore, whom was sold to the Red Sox by the Orioles with Ruth in 1914, replaced him on the mound. The runner was thrown out and Shore subsequently retired the next 26 batters, defeating the Senators 4-0. Originally recognized as a perfect game, it's technically considered a shared no-hitter today but referred to by many as an "unofficial" perfect game, a feat also accomplished by Harvey Haddix and Pedro Martinez.
  7. Ruth's sale to the Yankees made the team's owners the Red Sox's landlords: Of course, the famous — or infamous if you're a Red Sox fan — trade of Ruth to the Yankees for cash began the unfortunate Curse of the Bambino and Boston's 86-year World Series title drought. Ruth forced matters after the 1919 season when he threatened not to play without a salary increase, demanding the doubling of his salary to $20,000, which Red Sox owner Harry Frazee refused. The Sox floated several trade offers that were rejected, and ultimately had to decide on the White Sox's offer of Shoeless Joe Jackson and $60,000 or the Yankees' offer of $100,000. Franzee's official deal with the Yankees included a $300,000 loan backed by a mortgage on Fenway Park, which made the Yankee's owners the landlords of the Red Sox. In hindsight, it adds insult to injury. But Franzee was happy with the swap, justifying it by telling the The Boston Globe that "no club could have given me the equivalent in men without wrecking itself."
  8. Ruth didn't only break power records, he shattered them: In 1918, Ruth was finally given the opportunity to hit more regularly, tallying 11 homeruns, as previously mentioned, in 317 at-bats. The next year, he hit 29 in 432 at-bats, far surpassing Socks Seybold's American League record of 16, Gavvy Cravath's modern major league record of 24 and Buck Freeman's 19th century record of 25. In 1920, his first year with the Yankees, he hit 54 in 457 at-bats, more than any other major league team aside from the Phillies. His record .847 slugging percentage stood until Barry Bonds broke it 2001. Currently, Ruth still boasts four of the 10 best single-season slugging percentages in baseball history. In 1921, he hit 59 in 540 at-bats, breaking Roger Connor's career homerun record of 136 and establishing his own that lasted until Roger Maris hit 61 in 1961. Fourteen years later after his best season, he retired with 714 homeruns, more than twice as many as his nearest competitor. Hank Aaron broke the record in 1974.
  9. Ruth won only one MVP award: It may seem like a major injustice that he didn't win several MVP awards — Dale Murphy, for example, who isn't in the Hall of Fame, has two — but for a portion of Ruth's career, it either simply wasn't given or he wasn't eligible, as repeat winners weren't allowed. Considering that Barry Bonds currently holds the record with seven, it's interesting to speculate just how many Ruth could've won by today's standards. One metric that could be used to determine where he ranked statistically in each season during his career is Wins Above Replacement (WAR), which indicates how many more wins a player is worth than a replacement player. According to Baseball-Reference, he led the league in WAR 12 times. Accounting for the unique narratives provided by other successful players each season and the repetitiveness that would've come with winning 12 MVP awards, one could reasonably conclude that Ruth would have a total close to Bonds' seven.
  10. Ruth was the first high-dollar baseball player, setting the precedent for modern players: Upon joining the Yankees, Ruth received the $20,000 contract he requested from the Red Sox, and by 1930, his salary had risen to $80,000, by far the highest in baseball. He earned more than President Herbert Hoover, who made $75,000, which he rightly defended by saying "I know, but I had a better year than Hoover." When he retired, Gehrig became the highest-paid player in the league, earning $30,000 — much less than Ruth, but much more than baseball players earned before Ruth emerged as a star. Over the course of his career, Ruth made about a million dollars in salaries and bonuses and even more money from endorsements, writings and other ventures.
