I would recommend some focus. I spent 2 minutes on your site (way longer than anyone who would find it with organic search) and I still am not quite sure what it is about.
Are you a photo studio? can I hire you? what is with the tutorials? blog? school project (I'm guessing it may be one based on how it is written)? It just isn't clear.
The design is nice and simple, looks like a good start.

I am new to the Cydia game and am looking for the best tweaks, preferably free. I have yet to really maximize my iPhone 4's capabilities while using jailbreak, so any suggestions?

Ugh, I just now caught this little detail. That's gonna be a long wait! I'm really liking the look of this game.

I just a few hours ago set up my D-Link DI-624+ wireless router.
...snip...
So im quite impressed with D-link at the moment (i hope it lasts).
inlimbo, best of luck to you and I hope you got a good one...
elevenpower, I personally wouldn't recommend the DI-624. There are a number of very long threads on BroadbandReports about this router and the problems many people have had with it. Many of them have a problem which causes it to constantly reboot. I have one with this problem and it is very annoying.

Will be at the AT&T on Milwaukee first thing Friday Morning. Still trying to decide on the upgrade from my v1 iPhone to v3G, but will be there to share in the fun and check it out up close (if I can get my hands on a display model!) to finally decide on upgrading. Chances are I am walking out with one (as long as they have a white one left!)
Anyone else in Boise planning on being there first thing Friday?
So glad MacLife isn't allowed to carry these (just lost their license to even carry ipods!), it would be a huge cluster f__ just like any average day trying to make a purchase in their unmanaged store.
See you Friday morning at Milwaukee!:D Please post if your in Boise and plan on attending!

Hello,
I'm interested in taking the Mac Integration Basics Exam. Are there any practice exams that I can find online?

Microsoft yesterday released a set of updates for users of its Office for Mac productivity suite, bringing security (http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/bulletin/ms10-038.mspx) and performance fixes to Office 2008 and as well as a pair of ancillary updates.
Note the number of security fixes listed in the originals. Security is why Microsoft should finish its 64-bit Cocoa version, and why apps that you run that process data from [other computers/off the internet] need to be robust [security-wise]. This has nothing to do with running million-cell spreadsheets.

Sorry for asking but what did you mean by "for two days". My apologies for bad comprehension today :o
For the first two days, my initial reaction was, "Yes! This is the extra space I've been needing. What was I thinking about ever getting a second display". On the third day not only was I used to it, I was *really* jonesing for yet more space when developing.
Meanwhile, I have a 27" iMac (completely decked out -- DIYing the memory to 16GB myself though) ordered. Because one 27" display isn't enough.

I found a temporary workaround for 2011 MBP owners. After doing the latest update, boot in SL and navigate to the Update folder mentioned above and delete the ProductMetadata.plist file. Then reboot and the Lion should boot as per normal
Note that you'll have to do this every time you want to boot Lion which is strange but there you go. I'm typing this from the latest build of Lion on a 2011 MBP.

Well it does come at a price. Apple is not really selling $500 laptops like HP or Dell.
To HP and Dell's credit, their business customer support is not bad or their premium customer support is based in US ($99 additional). At the end of the day you cannot build laptops at the margins they have and pay US pay scales for support.
I definitely had great customer support experience with apple customer support for my apple devices.
I bought a $1k PC from HP and wanted to add in a new GPU, so I called Customer Support (I called US Customer Support). When someone answered, I asked what the dimensions were for the PC. He said he did not know. I asked him to look it up, he said the PC could not be found (this was a 1 month old PC). Be aware that it was extremely hard to understand this guy... he literally had the strongest accent ever. After arguing with him to convince him that the PC dimensions can be found, he ended the phone call. I then called back and got a new Support rep. This time a woman picked up and she also had a very strong accent was hard to understand. Again, I asked for the dimensions for the PC and guess what happened? She just hung up without even giving me a response. This same behavior came from all 6 reps that I talked to. On the 7th rep, I finally got someone that spoke English clearly and unlike the other reps I had previously talked to, she was very friendly and helpful. Again, for the 7th time now, I asked what the dimensions for the PC were and guess what happened this time? She pulled them up for me in 30 seconds.
I had 3 experiences like this with HP, all about different things that I needed assistance with.
So yeah lol... I was amazed with Apple's Support today. HP's, not so much haha.
Long live Apple. :)

That eMac will be great, the faster hard drive will help it eat your iBook for breakfast speed wise.
A faster Hard Drive really does that much? Interesting. Thanks

Unfortunately the only SL-compatible Mbox drivers are included in PT 8.0.4 or higher. There might be a standalone driver package somewhere, but upgrading would definitely fix things for you.

Unless I'm not understanding something correctly, I was always under the impression that an unlock on a CDMA phone didn't even exist because the phone's not "locked" -- the network provider only has to add the phone's ESN to its database.
Given that these were some employees of the provider, it really wouldn't be hard to add the Verizon iPhone to its network.
You are very correct. Only part that might be different and require a modification would be carrier settings. I'm not 100% sure how the iPhone works, but I would assume that there are some kind of carrier settings that tell the iPhone what servers to use for that carrier etc. When I used to mod my motorola v3m, I would take a brazilian carrier's software (because verizons for it sucked) and install it, but then had to rewrite manually each verizon specific setting back to it. It wasnt difficult, but it wasnt easy. GSM is different, the GSM card has everything the phone needs to know for the most part. So, Yes, in theory all China Telecom would have to do is add the ESNs, but i don't know if it would be able to do data.. cell calls yes, but data out of the box, probably not.

I have a black macbook 13" 2ghz 2gig of ram. I think I purchased it back in 06...maybe. Can I run Maya 2009 on this with an upgrade of ram...to I think 3 gig and a new vid card?
Not sure it's worth it.

I've been hesitant to ask this, but it's finally bugged me enough, and I've had too many fruitless searches that here goes. Is there someone out there that can tell me how to turn off the iPhoto autorun for when you connect a digital camera? I can't find the option anywhere for the life of me, and I'm wishing I hadn't selected the option for it to open iPhoto every time I connect my camera the first time I did it. I didn't think it'd be permanent.
Much thanks in advance

Oh cool! I'll try that for sure. However, is there a way of triggering sleep mode without the inverter board (which i believe is connected to the clamshell sensor) connected, or must I do target disk mode to log in and make changes? (I crippled the inverter cable and need to directly solder it to the logic board or get a new cable).
When I boot it up it is in extended mode.
