Voting begins HERE for LR Cafe's Best of 2010 Awards

The voting begins tomorrow, Saturday, January 22nd, 2010 and runs to January 30th. Voting will begin at 6 AM ET and each nominated category will have it's own separate post here on the blog. Each category will be up *barring blogger shoving it in draft  mode* within a space of 15 minutes of each other.

To vote ONCE for your favorite nominee, please comment on the post with your choice.

Now there are some rules in place for this contest:

*~* NO offering free books, stories to voters. This is considered “Buying votes” and if I hear about it, see it, you are disqualified. Plain and simple.

*~* During the voting period, you are welcome to do a post on the LRC loop saying something along the lines of “I was nominated in such and such category (s) and would love your vote. Check out title here”. Make sure to give a link to where readers can check out a book excerpt or blurb. DO NOT post excerpts of said nominated work on the loop unless it’s a Monday (promo day) or I say otherwise during the week. This is due to all the scheduled chats in the LRC loop.

*~* Please do not vote under several names. If you are an author who writes under different names, please don’t try to stuff the ballet so to speak by voting each time under each different name. That is dishonest and unethical.

Please be aware that whoever is in the lead is NOT the winner. The reviewers for LR&M Reviews will be casting their votes as well. Just because nominee A has %% votes and you think is the winner, until I announce on January 31st who the winner is, it is NOT a final tally. DO NOT GO OFF ANNOUNCING WINNERS. That is for me to do and I will disqualify anyone who does this before the official announcement.

Winners to be announced on the LR Café Loop on January 31st at Noon EST on the LR Cafe Loop.

Good Luck!

Now that said, I have a few items to discuss.

LR Café's "Best of…2010" Awards Information

**Please note this is through the LRC Loop, NOT the Love Romances Reviews Golden Roses. This is something totally different from that contest.**

Welcome to our annual "Best of…" awards. It's that time of year where we, the readers, vote on who will win in our favorite categories-from Paranormal to mystery to favorite authors and publishers.

This is an informative flyer to inform you, the readers, of what the nomination period will be and when voting will take place.

Please be aware that you can only nominate ONCE per category. You don't need to nominate for all the categories if you choose not to.
