For those who would argue that Georgia doesn't have a "national" presence, the Collegiate Licensing Company (CLC)—the company responsible for trademarking and marketing major college and university apparel for retail sale—released it's Top 75 ranking for the top-selling institutions in the nation for the 2009 fiscal year. Georgia came in at No. 5.
I'm guessing that some of those sweet 'G' hats, shirts, and jerseys were sold outside the Georgia borders as well—no national presence? Think again.
