Video: Simon Pegg and Nick Frost discuss Paul

Simon Pegg Nick Frost PaulShaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz stars Simon Pegg and Nick Frost re-team for the science fiction comedy Paul, which marks the first feature collaboration between the pair without the involvement of director Edgar Wright. The film, which opened here in the UK on Valentine's Day, sees the duo starring as two British comic book geeks who meet up with an extraterrestrial called Paul (voiced by Seth Rogen) after the alien breaks out of captivity from Area 51.

The $50m comedy is directed by Greg Mottola (Superbad) from a screenplay by Pegg and Frost, and also stars Jason Bateman (Juno), Kristen Wiig (Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story), Bill Hader (Adventureland), Jane Lynch (The 40 Year Old Virgin), Sigourney Weaver (Avatar), Blythe Danner (Little Fockers) and comedian Gregg Turkington, a.k.a. Neil Hamburger.

Pegg and Frost will next be seen (well, mo-capped) later this year as Thompson and Thompson in Steven Spielberg's, The Adventures of Tintin: Secret of the Unicorn, which is co-written by Wright, while the Spaced team also have plans to complete their 'Cornetto' trilogy with the provisionally titled The World's End. In the meantime, see what they have to say about their latest project...

Paul is out now in UK cinemas and will be released in North America on March 18th.
